Pocket spring mattresses

A pocket spring mattress is an excellent choice. Containing individual springs – cushioned in their own pockets of filling – that each work independently to support your body. The spring count can vary and there’s a choice of fillings available to choose from, here at Dreamers.

So, if you and your partner are different weights, or you tend to toss and turn through the night, a pocket spring mattress is a fantastic investment to ensure you don’t disturb each other and benefit from a peaceful night’s sleep.

Pocket spring mattresses tend to last 7-10 years before they need replacing.

Open coil spring mattresses

Open coil spring mattresses offer fantastic value for money. They consist of an inter-connected spring system where individual springs are fixed together using a wire.

An open coil spring mattress is a great choice if you sleep alone, or share a bed with someone who’s a similar size, as the springs move as one unit – meaning you’re more likely to disturb your partner if you move around when you sleep.

It’s recommended that you replace this type of mattress within 3-5 years.
