A guide to Mammoth mattresses

Thinking about buying a Mammoth mattress? Good choice – you’re already on your way to getting a better night’s sleep. Thanks to their Medical Grade Foam and Posture Cell Technology, every single mattress they make is designed to improve sleeping habits, health and wellbeing.

The questions is, which is the right one for you?

Healthcare experts now believe there isn’t a right or wrong way to sleep. When it comes to comfort, everyone is different – and, therefore, it would be impossible to create one mattress to suit all.

To cover all the bases, Mammoth has developed three separate ranges – with something to suit all preferences. Essentially, each one builds upon the last, with an increasing amount of their ground-breaking technologies. But to make your life a little easier, here we take a look at them in detail.

Three mattress ranges by Mammoth

The Rise® Mammoth Mattress

Described as an ‘introduction to better sleep’, the Rise® is the brand’s base model – offering generous amounts of Medical Grade Foam and Posture Cells for an affordable price. As such, it’s a good option for those who just wish to improve their bedtime comfort and sleep better.

Here at Dreamers, we currently stock two models from the Mammoth Rise® range, including:

1. The Rise® Essential

This features 35mm of Medical Grade Foam and three Posture Cell zones. Both sleep technologies are layered over 1000 comfortable pocket springs, therefore giving the mattress a medium (slightly bouncy) feel, and come wrapped up in a sumptuous quilted cover.

2. The Rise® Advanced

Again, this is a classic Mammoth mattress with a medium feel. It still has three Posture Cell zones, but the Medical Grade Foam is slightly thicker – at 45mm – and layered over 1200 pocket springs.

The Shine® Mammoth Mattress

Shine® Mammoth Mattresses pack in much more of the brand’s key comfort technologies. They also come with a few beneficial extras (e.g. ergonomic handles) and it’s possible to choose your own firmness level (i.e. soft, medium, firm). As a result, this particular range is recommended for people who suffer aches and pains in the morning or just wish to give their energy and health a boost.

We currently have three Shine® models to choose from, including:

1. The Shine® Essential

This kicks-off the collection with three Posture Cell zones, 50mm of Medical Grade Foam and 1600 pocket springs. What’s more, it benefits from an extra-luxurious cover – that has been woven from high-quality Tencel® fibres – and offers tailored support and comfort wherever needed.

2. The Shine® Plus

Shine® Plus embodies all of the great features of the ‘essential’ model. However, as the mattress is much deeper (measuring 27cm), it can accommodate a much greater amount of sleep technology – with 70mm of Medical Grade Foam, five Posture Cell zones and 2000 pocket springs.

3. The Shine® Advanced

Finally, the Shine® Advanced is the highest (and deepest) model in this collection. It measures 30cm deep – with enough space for 90mm of Medical Grade Foam and seven Posture Cell zones – and benefits from 3000 pocket springs. As the most luxurious and supportive choice out of the three, it is the perfect mattress for anyone who suffers from persistent back pain.

The Move® Mammoth Mattress

Deemed the ‘very best that Mammoth has to offer’, the Move® Adjustable is top of the range – with as much Medical Grade Foam and as many Posture Cells as possible. It also boasts innovative motion technologies, which allow you to shape your sleeping experience and reach peak comfort. As such, it is the ideal mattress for anyone who would like to create the ultimate sleep environment.

Again, three models are available, including:

1. The Move® Essential Adjustable

This features 150mm of Medical Grade Foam and three Posture Cell zones. At 17cm deep, it offers a sumptuous medium feel and is guaranteed to provide an excellent night’s sleep.

2. The Move® Plus Adjustable

Going one step further than the Move® Essential, the Move® Plus is slightly thicker (measuring 22cm deeper) – and, therefore, home to 200mm of foam and five comfort zones. It still has a medium feel, but overall, it’s the more luxurious option – perfect for those who love to relax and unwind in bed.

3. The Move® Advanced Adjustable

Last but not least is the Move® Advanced. In our opinion, this is the best that money can buy. It too measures 22cm deep. However, the space is filled with as many sleep technologies as possible – including 140mm of Medical Grade Foam, seven comfort zones and 6cm of SkyFoam®. As a result, it’s incredibly soft-to-touch (yet still supportive) and feels like an absolute dream to lie on.

Choose the right Mammoth mattress for you

Selecting the best Mammoth mattress for you, personally, can be tricky. It depends on your size, the way you sleep, your comfort and support preferences – and, of course, your budget.
